Malimel Bhagavathi temple is situated in Kurathikad, which is ward of Mavelikkara-Thekkekkara panchayath of Mavelikkara taluk. The temple is about 50 kms south from the district headquarters, Alappuzha.. It is 6.5km southeast of Mavelikkara, in Mavelikkara – Kattanam road. There is N.S.S high school junction and the temple is half km east of the junction.
